Puzzle: March/April 2008

For those who have never heard of Puzzle, it is a free video magazine that is put out every few months or so. Puzzle is based in Europe, which is a breath of fresh air, because it is a chance to see a bunch of guys who you may never be exposed to otherwise. I have seen about three issues if Puzzle Videomag, and I would have to say that out of the three, this issue is definitely the best so far. The articles in this issue of Puzzle were Circa Europe in Spain, Globe Metz Masters, and Blind Europe in China. The skating in this video is absurdly awesome, and makes me wish some of these guys could move to the US, so I could see coverage of them on a more regular basis. A few of the things in this video that made me laugh were the clever as usual enjoi ad, the reference to Marc Johnson in Fully Flared, and “You are not allowed to play skateboarding here.” You can find this issue of Puzzle at www.puzzlevideo.com or in the iTunes podcast directory.
